FBI: Man Was Downloading Child Porn
Melvindale Man Charged With Pornography

John Chiello

An FBI raid on a Michigan man's home Friday has led to him facing child pornography charges.
During a detention hearing Tuesday, investigators from the FBI's said they executed a search warrant Friday morning at John Chiello's Melvindale home and found evidence he was downloading child porn on his computer. They said he was using his wife's broadband account to use a peer-to-peer network.

Chiello was arrested Monday night, and investigators said he confessed to possessing and distributing pornographic images of children.
Investigators said they found dozens of video files showing children, both girls and boys, engaged in sexual acts with adult men.
Neighbors told Local 4 Chiello and his family had only recently moved into the home, about two months ago.
John Sabino, a father of four, said he was shocked and saddened to hear of his neighbor's arrest.
"It kind of makes me angry. Until you know about it, there's nothing you can do about it," said Sabino.
The federal minimum mandatory sentence for child pornography conviction is five years in prison.
